Peter J. Littrup, MD, has led an innovative career studying prostate cancer and its diagnosis and treatment via ultrasound. Currently, he is the Director of Imaging Care and Radiological Research for the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan. He is investigating cryotherapy and its effects on treating a specific part of anatomy that has cancer. With over 60 publications to his name, Dr. Littrup is also one of the founders of the American Cancer Society's National Prostate Cancer Detection Project.
