As an infecious disease specialist, Dr. Tabatabai offers expertise in infections of the sinuses, heart, brain, lungs, urinary tract, bowel, bones and pelvic organs; focusing on all kinds of infections, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. She plays a critical role on the staff of many local hospitals including being Director of Infection Prevention at the St. Francis Medical Center; which houses the largest and busiest private emergency trauma center in Los Angeles County--treating 69,000 children and adults each year. Dr. Tabatabai expresses her passion through her double board certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease; as well as being recognized as a Fellow to both the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
