Dr. Poiman has established himself as one of the most technologically advanced dentists in Manhattan, New York City, New York. Dr. Poiman has been delivering high quality dental services for patients for over 15 years. He dedicates himself to continuing education in the field of dentistry, and has been recognized for achieving more than 500 hours of training a year. Dr. Poiman has even gained special training in the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique by Dr. Chao himself.

Among his numerous recognitions and awards, Dr. Poiman has been named a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has also earned the Delaware Valley Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for Oral Implantology, the Crest Award for Excellence in Preventative Dentistry for the Elderly, as well as the Biotene Award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry. Furthermore, he has been featured on a number of news broadcasts, including Fox News, where he has discussed the benefits of minimally invasive laser dentistry.

Dr. Poiman earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1998. He then went on to complete his post-doctoral education at New York Medical College (Department of Dental Medicine).

Dr. Poiman is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the World Clinical Laser Institute.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a dentist, Dr. Poiman is responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, as well as promoting oral health and disease prevention. He specializes in hard and soft tissue laser procedures to treat a variety of dental procedures, including esthetic ones. Moreover, his ability to make people feel comfortable is one of his excellent qualities.

Dr. Poiman is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.

Dr. Poiman is the co-author of ‘Laser Dentistry for Children’ published in 2005.

In addition to English, Dr. Poiman speaks Russian. He attributes his success to hard work and dedication. In his spare time, Dr. Poiman enjoys having fun with his Chinese crested dog.
