Dr. Salup specializes in advanced laparoscopic surgery and Laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy. He was one of the first gynecologists to do this advanced laparoscopic surgical procedure in Brevard County, which he has been performing since 1994. Dr Salup is the most experienced daVinci Robotic Surgeon in Brevard County, since he was the first gynecologist at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Brevard County to perform daVinci robotic surgery. He is also very proud to be the only daVinci Surgery PROCTOR, in Brevard County, meaning teaching other gynecologists how to perform daVinci Surgery in Florida and out of state, since he has done the most surgery cases in Brevard County. He also specializes in leading advanced technologies that are done in the office, such as minimally invasive procedures done to decrease or eliminate abnormal or heavy vaginal bleeding (via Cryoablation or Thermal ablation). These office procedures are extremely well tolerated by the patients, along with an elective procedure for permanent sterilization called the ESSURE Technique.
