Ronald Hamner, MD, is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Trinity University. He attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and received his MD in 1978. Dr. Hamner completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham. He then completed a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston where he was also a clinical instructor. Dr. Hamner serves patients in the San Antonio area as well as in Jourdanton. His practice includes general nephrology with special expertise in home dialysis (peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis) and nocturnal dialysis.
