Robert J. Obermeyer, MD, FACS, FAAP, practices at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. He specializes in treating children's chest deformities as well as surgery on the gastrointestinal tract. In addition to teaching advanced trauma life support, he is Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School of the Medical College of Hampton Roads. In 2011 and 2012, Vitals.com honored Dr. Obermeyer with a Compassionate Doctor Recognition and a Patients Choice Award, respectively.
