His program has a complication rate far below the national average, while providing a cutting edge variety of laparoscopic, robotic, and bariatric surgery techniques.

Dr. Sadek earned his medical degree from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. He then went on to complete his residency and a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. He also completed a fellowship in surgical critical care and trauma at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Sadek joined a private practice in 2006 and performed a wide variety of advanced laparoscopic and bariatric procedures. More than three thousand advanced surgical procedures later, he has established a strong patient satisfaction rate and a solid reputation among the surgical community.

Dr. Sadek is board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Dr. Sadek is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Sadek has received several awards throughout his career, including America’s Top Surgeon from 2009 to2012 and the Patients’ Choice Award from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Sadek is a happily married father of twins. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and tennis.
