    Lemon is very abrasive to your enamel and depending on the strength of the lemon water you should brush or at least rinse out your mouth.     Amazing antimicrobial mouthwash. There is not a statue of limitation to the use of the product, but understand it stains your teeth. Most people do not like that and will discontinue use when stains become apparent on your teeth. It does come off with normal cleaning and polishing.. READ MORE

  • What can I do about my gum pain?

    You need to see your dentist. if it is isolated, sometimes it is just something that is stuck under the gums, EX: popcorn kernel, nut shells or even corn.     Well that is completely up to you. Dental implant are amazing adjunct to missing teeth, but they require the exact same maintenance that your normal teeth require.     It really depends on how sensitive they are to begin with. Sensodyne works and is a great adjunct to help with that, just make yourself very diligent in using it because it build upon itself to work. I would say that 10 - 15 days you will see a marked difference. READ MORE

    Absolutely, the two are NOT interchangeable. It all depends on the reason behind your crown...Is it decay, fractured..You will know if there is not enough tooth structure and close to the nerve. Your doctor should show you and explain the diagnosis. READ MORE

    That is a great question because it truly has many answers.. Most dry sockets occur when you have a lower extraction. Not to say it doesn't happen on the top, but historically more on the lower. The tooth that was extracted forms a clot and for whatever reason the clot diminishes. Usually the symptoms start between 2-3 days after the extraction and are very painful with a dull ache.     Your dentist should have given you a take home syringe that you will either use with the antimicrobial mouthwash given at your extraction time or use hydrogen peroxide and water in the syringe.
