Serving as the Founder of The Chahfe Center in Utica, New York, he treats diseases of the ears, nose and throat in children and adults.

Back in 1985, Dr. Chahfe graduated with his medical degree from the University of Sherbrooke Medical School in Canada. He then performed his residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at McGill University in 1990, his fellowship in maxillofacial trauma at the University of Montreal in 1990, and his fellowship within the Department of Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at Anderson Cancer Center in Houston in 1991.
With years of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). The ABOHNS serves the public by assuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.
In his current practice, Dr. Chahfe is on active staff & serves as the Chief of Surgery at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica (1994 – present), and is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the New England School of Medicine (2007 – present).
Maintaining fellowship status, he is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS), a Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FACPS), a Fellow of the American Society of Rhinology, and a Fellow of the American Sleep Apnea Society. He is also a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
