Pierre Dejace, MD, is a retired infectious disease specialist having worked at the Veterans Administration based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Dejace has had much success in his career; being nominated Best Top Doctor in the United States in 2011 and 2012. Dr. Dejace's expertise and clinical interest are in tropical medicine, HIV infections, and infections in cancer patients. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in infectious diseases, Dr. Dejace received training at the prestigious Brown University in 1984, for a fellowship program. Initially educated in Brussels, Belgium, he then relocated to the United States; where he currently practices medicine and is involved in the field. When not serving his patients, Dr. Dejace works at the Tulane Medical Center and VA Hospital; as well as, authored publications and is involved with local and regional public speaking.
