Dr. Rathna V. Sastry M.D.
Pediatrician
11914 Astoria Boulevard Suite 450 Houston Texas, 77089About
I see children from newborn to about age 20years.I face the same issues and joys as other pediatricians do.However,Childhood nutrition ,behavioral issues in the otherwise healthy child and helping families with these is of great interest to me.Having followed many of these wonderful families for over30years, family dynamics and its effects on the child has helped me in councilling them.Having done an ID fellowship me prepared me for dealing with minor and major infections in children. My greatest joy has been in watching these children be productive adults and in providing care for their children and a few grandchildren. The gratitude I feel in the trust they have placed in me is unmeasurable.
