Jennifer Cohen Takagishi, MD, FAAP, works at the University of South Florida and Healthpark Pediatrics in Tampa, Florida.  She has co-authored several case reports and articles on pediatric resident education, and specializes in breastfeeding, advocacy, and the business of medicine.  In the past, she taught residents at St. George's University and also served as Director of Pediatric Undergraduate Medicine for LICH.  She is an active researcher, and a current participant in the Academic Pediatric Association's Educational Scholars Program, Community Cohort, studying the effects of linking pediatric residents with doulas to learn breastfeeding and cultural competency.  Dr. Takagishi is author of 7 publications and conductor of 3 other research studies.
