Get to know Internist & Pulmonologist Dr. Vinod K. Sinha, who serves patients in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. 

Dr. Sinha is an experienced internist & pulmonologist who specializes in all aspects of internal medicine and pulmonary diseases with special interests in asthma, allergy, lung cancer, emphysema, weight control, obesity, special diets, diabetes, hypertension, and heart diseases. 

He practices alongside Drs. Anubha Sinha and Neil Chowdhry at his private practice – Dr. Vinod K.Sinha, MD, PA – in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. The providers offer state-of-the-art medical care to every adult, tailored to their medical needs, irrespective of their insurance or financial status. 

Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Sinha teaches medical residents during their pulmonary diseases rotation at Raritan Bay Medical Center. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Prior to his current endeavours, he served as a member of the Governing Body and President of the Medical Staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway.

In regards to his educational background, Dr. Sinha graduated with his medical degree from Patna Medical College, Patna in India in 1974. Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to perform his residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York in 1979.

Triple certified, he is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

A leader in his field, Dr. Sinha is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP).
