  • I'm not able to ejaculate?

This is very strange and unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for you. If you are having night sweats and fevers you may have prostatitis. Also when did this start and were your ejaculations normal before? READ MORE

  • How long does a prostate CT scan take?

It depends if you’re having contrast or no contrast. I typically order them with no contrast which takes about 2 to 4 minutes. If you’re doing it with contrast and need delayed films sometimes that will be 5 to 15 minutes. READ MORE

  • Cystocele and rectocele? Pelvic organ prolapse?

Yes, but it should be obvious on a pelvic exam. READ MORE

  • What is the cause of the loss of feeling?

I’m very sorry that you’re having this issue. I think your best bet is to go to a neurologist and get an MRI of your pelvis. I think there is something pinching one of the nerves in the pelvis that is causing your numbness. We also see this in patients that cycle and spin excessively. READ MORE

  • Kidney stones?

Do you need an x-ray ultrasound or CT scan to confirm this? It could also be a kidney infection. READ MORE

  • Blood test?

It could be he did your rectal exam and suspected something. A rectal or manipulation of the prostate from a cysto or colonoscopy could increase the number or he put you on antibiotics and wanted to test you afterwards. Otherwise, I do not have a good answer for you. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Pregnancy concern?

In two weeks, get a home pregnancy test. Unfortunately, can’t guarantee that you can’t get pregnant 2-3 days before your period, but the chances are low. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Problem with urine?

That is not normal and you should get an abdominal pelvic ultrasound to evaluate the kidneys bladder and pelvis. Also, if you’re drinking a fair amount of coffee or tea stop it and see if that makes it any better. Caffeine can sometimes do this. Also, make sure that you’re having normal bowel movements. If you’re constipated, start using milk of magnesia 30 mL once a day until your bowel movements are normal. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Sex with urethral stent placement?

Some advice to you is to continue to bug the scheduler to get you your surgery. You need to be your own advocate. I would tell you that all of the symptoms you had were normal. As soon as the stent comes out, all of those symptoms disappear. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • STI transmission?

No Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Possible Peyronie's Disease?

There is nothing wrong with your penis. There is no curvature. It looks natural and the papules are normal. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • 24 Hour Urine Test?

A 24-hour urine collection should be what you normally do. It should be an accurate accounting of your metabolic state. Do not change anything that you normally do for this test. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Question regarding total testosterone?

Testosterone is like gas in a car! If the car has gas, it will run perfect whether you have a full or quarter tank. If your “T” level is in the normal range, all the receptors are covered and everything works well. A free testosterone is the better test to obtain to prove you have enough testosterone available in the blood stream. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • What options does he have?

He needs a full history and physical with his primary doctor. Sounds like liver/pancreas/GI tract issues. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Do I have a bladder infection?

You need a urine culture and analysis to prove that. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • I have a foreskin issue?

If you can gently retract your foreskin so that you can see the tip of the penis if you’re able to do that, then pull the skin back over the tip so that it doesn’t get stuck in the retracted position. You should be retracting the foreskin to urinate and then pat dry the skin so it does not get a yeast infection underneath. You should wash it underneath the foreskin when you shower as well. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Is this a strange rash or a possible STD?

Can’t tell you without seeing it. If you shave the pubic area, it could be from that. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • Foreskin/glans red from phimosis?

That is Candiasis balanitis due to a yeast infection. Best treatment is Monistat cream twice a day for 7 days, which you can get over the counter and then to keep the area under the foreskin dry and dry the penis after voiding. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • I have cuts and bumps on foreskin?

A yeast infection doesn’t look like that. You need an evaluation in person to assess it. May be an STD like condyloma. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE

  • I have a few bumps in my personal area?

I believe those are ingrown hairs and nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, the pictures are not good enough to make a true diagnosis so you may want to pop in to see your local urologist. Dr. Niko Lailas READ MORE
