With over 10 years of experience and a numerous board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease, echocardiogrpahy, and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Alonso provides quality care to his patients. In conjunction with his practice, Dr. Alonso is the program Director of the cardiology fellowship offered at Palmetto General Hospital and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University in the cardiology division of the internal medicine department. Recognized for his outstanding work, Dr. Alonso is also a Fellow of the esteemed American College of Cardiology.
