Is flossing more important than brushing?
Both flossing and brushing are equally important. Brushing reaches the lip/cheek sides of the teeth as well as the chewing surfaces of the teeth, whereas flossing cleans the interproximal/in-between surfaces of the teeth. You can fix them. You can often reduce the pocket depths with a deep cleaning. If the pockets are severe, then you may have to have gum surgery to reduce and/or eliminate pockets all together. there are also trays that you wear with medicated products that will also help in reducing those pockets. What happens to teeth after a root canal?
A root canal is a procedure where the nerve is removed from the tooth in order to save a tooth that has nerve damage. Once the root canal is completed, you will then need to have a custom crown made to protect the tooth because the tooth is no longer viable. READ MORE
