She is pleased to partner with each patient in their quest for ultimate wellness and believes in an authentic healing process that integrates all aspects of body, mind, heart and spirit.
CHIMedicalCenter’s home-like setting is a haven of health awareness, located in the scenic valley of the Ko'olau Mountain Range on the island of Oahu. Designed with the ancient concepts of Feng Shui, the center has a unique relaxing interior setup that complements the exterior beauty of Kailua’s fresh mountain air, the sound of flowing streams, and the regenerative energy of an eternal Spring. Prior to establishing CHI Medical Center, Dr. Christenson's medical education and professional experience spanned three continents from her birthplace in Taiwan, where she came from a lineage of hundreds of years of doctors and healers, to Europe, where she received a medical degree and onto the United States, where her medical career and healing center has become her life’s journey. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and medical acupuncture. What do you attribute your success to?
The term "doctor" stems from the term for "teacher" and I believe a great teacher is first a great student. I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge and innovative thinking and throughout my personal studies and professional career, I have been fortunate to be guided by exceptional teachers who shared their wisdom, as well as, their uniqueexperiences of knowledge. I am always searching for solutions to eleviate pain and suffering and to honor the Hippocratic concept of "do no harm." As long as I continue onthisjourney to never acceptthe concept of anincurable disease, I know the future will both challenge and inspire me to live "outside the box" and explore the expanding circles of life-sustaining dimensions. Each and every patient issacredinspiration for me to answer thequestion and follow the quest for ultimate wellness.
