Dr. Jacky Tze Kit Lam is a general dentist who strives to provide the highest standards in comprehensive dentistry for his patients. His ambition to pursue post-graduate continuing education has allowed him to create thorough multi-disciplinary treatment plans and perform many demanding dental procedures for his patients.
Dr. Lam specialized in the Health and Disease program during his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. After only 3 years of undergraduate education, he was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto and later obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2010. In the year of his graduation, he was selected to be one of the teaching assistants for the 3rd-year undergraduate Endodontic Pre-clinical sessions (DEN303).
Dr. Lam's love for dentistry is demonstrated by his commitment to continuing education. Since graduation, he has enrolled in over 2300 hours of Continuing Education spanning all disciplines of dentistry. He is a graduate of the implant residency program with the Toronto Implant Maxicourse. He has pursued studies in occlusion and fully mouth rehabilitation from the Spear Institute & Dawson Academy. Dr. Lam's passion is in seeing how his dental work can benefit his patients from smiling to eating; speaking to socializing. He truly believes the key to overall health starts with excellent oral health. In his primary office, he performs all services including, but not limited to scaling, fillings, dentures, implants (surgery & prosthetics), orthodontics, biopsies, routine & wisdom teeth extractions, crowns & bridges, laughing gas, oral & IV sedation, gum & bone grafting, sinus lifts, root canals, and many more. In recognition of his effort in pursuing post-doctorate education and training in the field of dentistry, Dr. Lam was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honour fewer than 5% of the dentists in North America receive. He is the 169th Canadian Dentist to have receieved the Fellowship title since its inception in 1952.
