She then completed the Psychiatry Residency Program from 2009 to 2012 and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program from 2012 to 2014, both at UT Health San Antonio.
Board certified in general psychiatry and in child and adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Porbandarwalla is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
