He received his medical degree from the prestigious Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, before completing his residency in general surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, receiving honors as an outstanding surgical resident and teacher. Later, he completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor has attained dual board certification by both the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). He is an active member of many regional and national medical societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Aesthetic Society Education and Research Foundation, the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Florida Medical Association, the Broward County Medical Association, the Broward County Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Lipoplasty Society of North America, among others.
