Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories – reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. A plastic surgeon’s primary responsibility is performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.
In every year from 2011 through 2021, Dr. Olson was selected by his fellow physicians as one of the Best Doctors in America®. This isn’t just another award—only about 4% of doctors in the United States are recognized. This means that not only do Dr. Olson’s peers hold him in high regard as a physician, they would go as far to say that they would seek care from him for themselves or their loved ones.
On a more personal note, Dr. Olson is married to Mercy Olson, RN, who plays an active role in the practice. They have two children and enjoy the many outdoor activities that Southern Arizona has to offer.
