Dr. Gonzalez completed his undergraduate with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University in New York in 1989. He then returned to his alma mater to complete his Medical Degree in 1993, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree, Dr. Gonzalez completed his Pediatric residency with the New York University. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. Dr. Gonzalez is currently a partner with Pediatrics East Of New York, P.C. He is also affiliated with New York University, Lenox Hill, and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18. A paediatrician is a child’s physician who provides not only medical care for children who are acutely or chronically ill but also preventive health services for healthy children. A paediatrician manages physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the children under their care at every stage of development, in both sickness and health. Dr. Gonzalez attributes his professional success to his great mentor and love of pediatrics. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling.
