Get to know Orthodontist Dr. Judith A. Okun, who serves the population of Rye Brook, New York. Dr. Okun is an exceptionally experienced orthodontist with a vast expertise in all facets of her work. Dr. Okun has been in practice for more than twenty-eight years and is currently serving patients at Okun Orthodontics in Rye Brook, New York. She is committed to providing patients with complete and comprehensive orthodontic care and TMJ treatment. Dr. Okun also has her research published and is often found engaging in philanthropic initiatives with Bikur Cholim of Rockland County, Westchester Chevra Kadisha – Congregation Rosh Pinah, and Young Israel of White Plains Security Committee. Furthermore, she acts as a Guest Lecturer for the Westchester Shore Dental Forum and the Suburban Dental Study Club. Dr. Okun attended The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and received her doctorate of dental medicine in 1986. She additionally obtained a certificate in orthodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, New York. Dr. Okun is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and distinguished member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Ninth District Dental Society, the Westchester Shore Dental Forum, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Orthodontic Alumni Society of Columbia University. An inductee of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, Dr. Okun was honored with the American Association of Orthodontics’ Joseph E. Johnson Award. She links her success to high standards of quality and bringing a personal touch to the work she performs. In her spare time, she enjoys snow skiing, reading, and traveling. Orthodontists priority is the straightening of teeth. An orthodontist diagnoses overbites, occlusions, misaligned teeth and jaws, and overcrowded mouths.
