  • Dr. Bazile is the former member of the International Child Care sector in Canada and now a member of International Child Care USA. It is an organization that provides care and vaccination to families and children with tuberculosis in Haiti.Co-Founder and Chair, G.E.A.C.H. (Groupe d'Etudes et d'Actions Civiques pour Haiti). This organization provides education, free consultation services with medication to the "paysans" afflicted with diabetes and high blood pressure in the remote mountains of the Petit Goave region in Haiti.Along with a group of physicians he provided medical services and medicine to hundreds of patients coming from all the areas of his home town L'Azile.

A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA), he is a member of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry, the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry, the Canadian Medical Association, and the American Geriatrics Society. 

Respected in his field, Dr. Bazile spoke for the International Psychiatric Association in Berlin, was nominated by The Ottawa Hospital as the Physician Who Represented Most Continuity to the Idea, Mission, and Philosophy of the Hospital, as well as authored a chapter on ethical issues in assessing cognitive impairment in the elderly. He feels that his success is attributable primarily to his faith, determination, and the belief that he always has to improve for the benefit of others. 

Geriatrics, or geriatric medicine, is a specialty that focuses on health care of elderly people. It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseases and disabilities in older adults. A geriatrician is a primary care physician who specializes in treating conditions that affect older adults.

Geriatric psychiatry, also known as geropsychiatry, psychogeriatrics or psychiatry of old age, is a subspecialty of psychiatry dealing with the study, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders in humans with old age. Geriatric psychiatrists focus on prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental and emotional disorders in the elderly and improvement of psychiatric care for healthy and ill elderly patients.
