Tariq Javed, MD, FICS, FACS, FAANS, maintains his own private practice based out of the Marietta area of Georgia. Within his practice Dr. Javed specializes in many surgical treatments including disc disease and arthritis of the spine, brain tumor, aneurysm and skull base surgery, spinal disorders, cervical and lumbar disc herniation, and carpal tunnel release; some of which he uses the minimally invasive approach. Board certified and Fellow of many renowned surgical associations, Dr. Javed has authored numerous articles and book chapters on brain and spine surgery and speaks internationally on his expertise; in conjunction with educating future doctors. His main area of interest is in the surgical treatment of complex skull-based lesions and minimally invasive approaches to the skull base, including endoscopic endonasal techniques for surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques for spinal disease. For all of his outstanding work and achievements in the field of neurosurgery, Dr. Javed has received many accolades for his quality work. He has been named Top Doctor in Atlanta Magazine, Top Doctor Across America, and Top Neurosurgeon by the US News & World Report; to name a few.
