Valdesha L. Ball, MD, maintains her own practice, Healing Minds, PLLC, located Bellaire, Texas. Earlier in her career, Dr. Ball acted as Medical Director of the Returning OEF/OIF Veterans? Environment of Recovery Program also known as ROVER. Now, with nearly 10 years of experience, Dr. Ball is extremely well-versed in crisis, trauma, and mood disorders with Board certification from the renowned American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Aside from her practice, Dr. Ball serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine; where she provides lectures on topics such as PTSD and cultural psychiatry, and supervises resident physicians in psychotherapy. Active in her field, Dr. Ball has authored several publications on topics related to dementia, depression, PTSD, and personality disorders. She also acts as a public speaker and mental health advocate who is committed to the mission of decreasing stigma and health disparities associated with mental illness by hosting and presenting educational seminars throughout the community and for Sparkles of Life for Fertility.
