This was followed by a fellowship in cerebrovascular neurology and stroke at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 2016. 

He is board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, which is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
