I have a burning pain all over my thighs. What could be causing this?
Totally depends on what your examination would determine. I have helped people who have diffuse leg pain if it is nerve related. A complete chiropractic exam with X-rays should help determine if a chiropractic adjustment could help your current leg pain. READ MORE

X-rays will show hard tissues such as bone so spinal deformities will be diagnosed from X-rays but if are having severe pain and radiation then there may be a disc issue. Sounds like typical sciatica. I would encourage you to visit a chiropractor to get a proper history, exam, and X-rays. After this evaluation the doctor of chiropractic should be able to tell you whether it is sciatica or something else. READ MORE
I am having severe neck pain. What could be the reason?
First I would encourage you to use ice on your neck to help with inflammation. Then I would call a local chiropractor and get an evaluation and X-rays to see if they can locate the problem area. I always encourage people to go from least invasive treatment to most invasive treatment. Other options would be acupuncture, massage, or physical therapy but since I am a chiropractor I would start there. READ MORE

My father is suffering from severe back pain. Can it be treated with manual adjustment of the spine?
Yes absolutely. Chiropractic has been shown to be the most efficient at helping people with lower back pain. I would encourage you to have your dad evaluated by a doctor if chiropractic but to make sure they do a proper evaluation which includes a history exam and X-rays of the lumbar spine. No it is not detrimental to stop seeing a chiropractor for wellness care but I strongly encourage you to continue your care somewhere else. Can't turn head right after alignment
Was this alignment done by a chiropractor? If so I would recommend returning to the office and telling them what has happened and they should be able to rectify the problem quickly. This can sometimes happen following manipulation but it is unusual. It sounds like a muscle went into spasm. So depending on the situation I would either use ice or heat but since I cannot personally examine you I would go back to the practitioner. READ MORE
Do chiropractors typically take x-rays?
At our office we take X-rays on a regular basis. It is in my professional opinion that chiropractors should rule out any and all contraindications before adjusting a patient.
