A Fellow and Officer of the American College of Radiology, Behram Pastakia, MD, FACR, is a nuclear medicine specialist with 44 years of practice in his field. Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty involving the application of radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. He is found at the VA Hospital and Medical Center in Washington, DC, where he displays extensive expertise in all facets of radiology, body imaging, and diagnostic radiology. Dr. Pastakia studied medicine at the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, which is a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education in India.
