Eusebio G. Salud, Jr., MD, is an ophthalmologist with an impressive career spanning more than 50 years. He maintains his private practice in Lake Wales Eye Center, Lake Wales Florida. Born in the Philippines, Dr. Salud received his medical degree in 1962 from Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines. He then trained and obtained ophthalmology post graduate education from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts; as well as an ophthalmology residency at St. Luke's Hospital Center in New York City. He completed a fellowship in ophthalmology at the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Salud and his wife, Violeta, a financial advisor of 30 years and their son Irwin reside in Lake Wales, Florida for 41 years. They also have a daughter Aileen, a lawyer; son Christopher, a sports and family medicine physician; and son Jonathan, who is finishing medical school and will soon be pursuing residency in internal medicine at Emory University; and five grandchildren.
