Â He remains active and stays current on the latest developments, technologies and procedures in both the fields of Phlebology and Diagnostic Radiology .

My grandfather is suffering from venous stasis. How is this condition treated?
It is possible to treat this in a couple of ways. We would need to do an ultrasound screening to see exactly which veins were causing the problem and if they could be treated by laser ablation. A person with diabetes and hypertension can be treated, just monitored closely. READ MORE

There are a variety of doctors who treat varicose veins. I am a Radiologist and a Phlebologist. I would recommend an ultrasound screening of your mother's legs to determine which veins need to be treated and if they could be treated by laser ablations or sclerotherapy (injections). READ MORE

Too late to treat spider veins on my own?
There are a couple of things that can be tried at home, however, whether or not you can get rid of them would be dependent on whether or not you have an underlying problem, i.e. venous insufficiency.
