Illa Cox is a board-certified family nurse practitioner, BRN-certified Aesthetics instructor, and has been a certified injector for eight years. She is the Founder and Owner of Cox Medical Aesthetics in Lodi, California, delivering radiance and rejuvenation to her clients.

Cox Medical Aesthetics is dedicated to providing the highest level of service, with a focus on wellness, beauty, and rejuvenation. From luxurious injectables to indulgent body treatments, every service is meticulously designed to prioritize safety and comfort at every turn.

With a wealth of education and training, Illa graduated with honors from Sacramento State University where she obtained her Nursing Degree and then completed a Family Nurse Practitioner program at Sonoma State University in 2015. Following that, she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Touro University Nevada in 2017.

A firm believer in ongoing education and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the industry, Illa is an active member of professional organizations such as the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Lodi Chamber of Commerce.

With more than 20 years of experience in the medical field, Illa has worked in emergency departments all over California. Now seeking to help patients achieve the look they desire at her private practice, she is combining her wealth of medical expertise with her passion for aesthetics to provide personalized care and transformative results.

An avid speaker and educator, Illa has shared her expertise at Stanislaus State University’s nurse practitioner program and DNP conferences, aiming to improve healthcare practices and reduce door-to-provider times. 

When asked about her success, Illa attributes it to her family and educators, who instilled in her the values of education, kindness, and self-belief. Her commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by her receipt of the prestigious Congressional Award in 2017 from the State of California.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Illa is deeply involved in charitable endeavors, such as supporting Honky Tonk Harvest, an initiative focused on feeding farmers in need. 

In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, running half marathons, and vacationing with her family, with Europe being her favorite destination. Her favorite professional publications include the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology and the Journal of Experimental Medicine.
