Susanne Inez Steinberg, MD, is the Medical Director of Intensive Outpatient Site located in Moorestown NJ and is a part of the PENN Princeton House Behavioral Health System. The system has a total of 5 outpatient sites and two hospitals. A psychiatrist for 30 years, Dr. Steinberg studied medicine and did her residency training at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She additionally completed fellowships at the University of Montreal (Medical Research), National Institute of Health (Clinical Research in Geriatrics and Dementia) at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Steinberg is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She holds other degrees: MBA and an MSCE which accounts for her keen interest in genetics and neuroimaging. She has had a passion for Women's Health since the completion of her residency training heading her own Division at McGill and now at Moorestown. The latter offers services for women with trauma, substance use disorders, borderline personality, bipolar and other mood disorders, complicated grief and more. The Women's Program has won national prize for excellence. She is a member of the American Society of Addictions Medicine, California Society of Addictions Medicine and the American Academy of Addictions Psychiatry. She believes that her patients deserve quality care, have equal access to treatment, are an integral part of the team contributing to the success of their own outcomes.
