  • How long does it take for a bunion splint to correct?

Surely could not say. How bad is the issue, how long, what else are you doing to change it? Suggest taking pictures now and every month. Will be interesting to document and see how you change. Best, Dr. B READ MORE

  • What are the treatment options for hip arthritis?

If you still have a good range of motion, we would help you regrow cartilage and restore your joint. And if you have pain, it is possible that much of your pain does not come from the joint but from fascia that could be close by or several inches away. We would also be able to find this and help your body repair. Best, Dr. B READ MORE

  • How do I prevent muscle strains at work?

Stay in shape, light weightlifting for muscle tone, improve core strength, avoid inflammatory food like bread, soft drinks, and sugar, and massage out the knots in your muscles every morning before work--then again at the end of your day. • Occupational therapy for carpal tunnel?

Occupational therapy can be helpful for relieving symptoms of CTS, and success might depend on what specific treatments the therapist uses. We teach a series of stretches, and also offer a needle-based hydrodissection procedure. https://blatmanhealthandwellness.com/areas-of-practice/carpal-tunnel-syndrome/ Best, DrB READ MORE

  • Can occupational medicine treat Parkinson's?

Hi, Occupational medicine training taught me about heavy metal exposure/poisoning that can injure the brain, and how to get things like mercury out of the body. Integrative medicine taught me how to help people decrease the “fire” of inflammation that may be contributing to brain injury. We also can consider stem cell treatments to perhaps help the brain restore from damage. Best, Dr. B READ MORE
