Dr. McGowan, a caring board-certified pediatrician, is the Owner & CEO of Village Pediatric Group in Tuckahoe, New York. With over two decades of experience, she has demonstrated her expertise in children and adolescent care and looks forward to seeing her patients grow and thrive.
Village Pediatric Group treats children from the Lower Hudson Valley and Westchester County. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. McGowan received her undergraduate degree in biology and her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997. She completed her internship, residency, and chief residency at North Shore University Hospital in 2001.
Since that same year, she has been in private practice in pediatrics and adolescent medicine in Southern Westchester. Her diverse interests lie in asthma and allergy, pediatric nutrition and obesity, and adolescent health.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
