Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Susan E. Levitzky, who serves patients in New York, New York.  

Board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Levitzky is currently serving New York and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with NYU Langone Health, one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers. Their trifold mission to serve, teach, and discover, is achieved daily through an integrated academic culture devoted to excellence in patient care, education, and research. 

In 1967, Dr. Levitzky earned her Medical Degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She went on to complete an internship at Bellevue Hospital Center, followed by a residency at Beth Israel Medical Center and NYU Hospitals Center. 

Dr. Levitzky is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. She also maintains a professional membership with Children’s Foster Care for America.  

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. As a pediatrician, Dr. Levitzky diagnoses and treats infections, injuries, diseases, and other disorders in children. She can also oversee and manage the physical, mental, and emotional health of their patients. 

With over 50 years of experience in the field, Dr. Levitzky has treated thousands of patients. She was recognized and awarded as a “New York Super Doctor” in 2008 and 2010.
