Silva Gjivoje, MD, has been a radiologist for 35 years. She currently serves the residents of East Orange and surrounding communities in New Jersey. She studied in Croatia at the University of Zagreb and received her medical degree in 1964. Silva served her residency at Overlook Hospital and is fellowship-trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Association of Women's Radiology. She is also the recipient of the 20 Years in Medicine Award granted by the New Jersey Medicine Society.
