In addition, St. Francis Medical Center operates the Children?s Counseling Center for abused and neglected children, St. Francis Career College, and a broad range of educational and community services programs. Dr. Gonzales-Nate received her medical education at Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine in Cebu, The Philippines. She graduated in 1973 and is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry. Dr. Gonzales-Nate was voted the Mental Health Commissioner of the County and published a book in 2007.
