An experienced family physician, Dr. Ahmed sees patients at his private practice – Urgent Care & Family Practice Center – in Daytona Beach, Florida. A compassionate, caring, sympathetic and polite physician, he treats infants, children, men, women and elderly patients. He has a family of his own and understands concerns patients have and the assurance they need.

In regards to his educational background, he is a 1995 graduate from one of the topmost medical colleges in Southeast Asia, King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency training in neurology and general surgery in 1996. He also worked in dermatology and pediatrics. He passed his FCPS part one exam and worked in cardiology and internal medicine. Afterwards, he opened up his own clinic and worked as a general practitioner in Pakistan for a few years.

After relocating to the United States in 2000, Dr. Ahmed worked in an urgent care center for 3 years. From there he was matched in the Mercy Health Partner Family Practice Residency Program in Toledo, Ohio where he completed his 3 year residency in family medicine. At that point he moved to Port Orange, Florida and worked in an outpatient setting for 2 years. He was also the Medical Director of a Federal Government medical clinic for 2 years in DeLand.

Throughout his career, he has worked at multiple urgent care centers for 4 years and subsequently worked as a hospitalist with different groups for 5 years. Today, he works at his own practice and continues to treat his patients with incredible care leaving them feeling happier and healthier.
