Paul Thomas Khoury received his medical degree in 1972 from St. George’s Medical School in Grenada, West Indies. He then held an internship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. Khoury is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology with Special Competence in Nuclear Radiology. He has also received certification from the renowned American Board of Radiology and he is a member of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Khoury has over 40 years of clinical expertise in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and currently serves as Director of White Plains Radiology Associates, PC, offering the most advanced imaging and technology services in Westchester County. When he is not serving patients, he is an attending physician at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Diagnostic radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. The tests and equipment used sometimes involves low doses of radiation to create highly detailed images of an area. Diagnostic radiology can be used to identify a wide range of problems. Broken bones, heart conditions, blood clots, and gastrointestinal conditions are just a few of the problems that can be identified by diagnostic imaging. In addition to identifying problems, doctors can use diagnostic radiology to monitor how your body is responding to a current treatment.
