Education-wise, her journey into medicine began in Moscow, where she studied at some of the most prestigious institutions. She earned a master's degree in biology and anthropology from Moscow State University and subsequently obtained her medical degree from the Moscow Academy of Medicine. Under the mentorship of the legendary Dr. Svyatoslav Fyodorov, a pioneer in refractive and cataract surgery, Dr. Tilki honed her skills and gained invaluable insights into advanced surgical techniques.

After relocating to the United States, Dr. Tilki completed her second medical training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She further refined her expertise during her residency at Midwestern University, followed by additional training at Stanford University.
