Thomas M. O'Dorisio, MD, is the Director of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Program and Professor of Medicine within the University of Iowa. A distinguished endocrinologist of over 40 years, Dr. O'Dorisio has specific expertise in neuroendocrinology tumors and carcinoid tumors; neuroendocrinology being the treatment of disorders related to hormone imbalances. He has obtained certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is eligible for certification in endocrinology as well. Dr. O'Dorisio has been made Master Clinician Consultant for The Endocrine Society for all of his extensive knowledge and skill in the field; as well as helps with classification on all tumor and cancers for the American Joint Commission on Cancer also.
