Growing up in Michigan, he completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University in Detroit. Following the completion of his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, he went on to further his education. He performed his residency in internal medicine at Mclaren Macomb Hospital.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI), Dr. Whateley is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. He is also an active member of the Sons of American Veterans and participates in their volunteer work.
