He performed his residency in internal medicine at Mclaren Macomb Hospital.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI), Dr. Whateley is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. He is also an active member of the Sons of American Veterans and participates in their volunteer work.
