Dr. Joseph E. Brown, III, D.M.D. is a 2008 graduate of the MUSC James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine with extensive training in the application of Invisalign, 6 Month Smiles (short term orthodontics), facial ethetics (Botox and Dermal Fillers) Cosmetic Dentistry and Sleep Apnea. He serves in many professional organizations including as the Chairman of the Committee on the New Dentist within the South Carolina Dental Association and is a House of Delegates Member representing the Coastal District. He served as President of the Coastal District Dental Society and as President of the Medical University Alumni Board of Governors in 2016. Dr. Brown has also has been inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a selective international honorary dental organization that recognizes outstanding accomplishment in the field of dentistry. Recently, he received the Young Alumni of the Year Award from the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine for his contributions to the field of dentistry.
