A graduate of the University of Kentucky and the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Scott completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.  He began his formal practice in Atlanta in 1991, driven by a personal experience that influenced his career path. After witnessing his mother’s battle with endometrial cancer, he was profoundly inspired by the gynecologic oncologists who cared for her, leading him to pursue a career dedicated to women’s health.

Dr. Scott’s passion extends to gynecologic surgery, where he employs advanced laparoscopic techniques to perform complex cases with minimal invasiveness. Over the past 30 years, he has honed his skills through countless vaginal, abdominal, and laparoscopic surgeries, ensuring optimal outcomes for his patients.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Scott has devoted his time to humanitarian efforts, completing over 20 mission trips to countries such as Ghana, Brazil, and Ethiopia, among others, since 2004. These trips have allowed him to extend his level of care to underserved populations around the globe.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Scott has been an active member of his community, coaching youth sports at Dunwoody United Methodist Church, Murphy Candler, and All Saints Church. He is married and has two sons, both pursuing careers in healthcare. In his leisure time, he enjoys outdoor activities, fly fishing, traveling, reading, and spending time with his family.
