  • I had back surgery. Should I see a chiropractor or avoid it?

    In all honesty, it depends on what kind of surgery you've had done. Something like a fusion would not warrant chiropractic care since the goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to restore motion to the joint. A fusion surgery would make that impossible at this point. If you've had something along the lines of a laminectomy or discectomy, you can receive conservative chiropractic treatments such as electro-therapy, physical therapy and the like. A thorough evaluation should be done by the chiropractor to determine the extent of what kind of treatment may be utilized for your specific case. READ MORE
