A highly skilled bariatric surgeon, Dr. Chipman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in advanced surgical weight loss solutions to the Jefferson Comprehensive Weight Management Center. With a broad educational background, she earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College, where she honed her dedication to serving diverse populations. Following her medical education, she completed her internship at Atlanta Medical Center, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in patient care. She further advanced her surgical training through a rigorous residency program, completing her training at Mercer University School of Medicine, Morehouse School of Medicine, and the University of Toledo Medical Center. She also completed her fellowship at Abington Jefferson Health, where she specialized in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery.
