Louie Anquilo, MD, a distinguished board certified family physician specializing in acute and urgent care, is making waves in the healthcare industry with his commitment to excellence and patient-centered approach. 

With a strong foundation in family medicine and a passion for aesthetics and wellness, Dr. Anquilo is a trusted name in the community, serving patients at Atrium Health Urgent Care – Redstone in Indian Land, SC and as the proud owner of Aeternum Aesthetics and Wellness in Lake Wylie. 

Since joining Carolinas HealthCare System in 2008, now known as Atrium Health, Dr. Anquilo has garnered a loyal following of patients who value his exceptional skills, knowledge, and dedication to providing top-notch medical care. His expertise extends beyond traditional family medicine, as he recognizes the importance of holistic wellness and self-care. At Aeternum Aesthetics and Wellness, Dr. Anquilo combines his medical background with the latest anti-aging techniques and non-surgical treatments to deliver transformative results for his clients.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas and a Medical Degree from the University’s Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, The Philippines. Upon relocating to the United States, Dr. Anquilo completed his residency in family medicine at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Pennsylvania, after which he attained board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.

A dedicated professional, Dr. Anquilo stays abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare through active participation in esteemed organizations like the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), Urgent Care Association (UCA) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), for which he is a distinguished fellow. 

With a career marked by leadership roles such as Medical Director of Wellmore of Tega Cay and York County Free Clinic, Dr. Anquilo has established himself as a pillar of the healthcare community in South Carolina. He attributes his success to his unwavering commitment to patient care, continuous education, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the medical field.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Anquilo is an avid runner, participating in half and full marathons in his spare time. Fluent in both English and Filipino, he is committed to providing compassionate care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
