How many dermabrasion treatments do I need?
It depends on your skin type as well as the blemish you are trying to correct. For example, minor skin color variation may only require one or two, whereas deep pitting type acne scars often require 3-6 rounds of microneedling in order to minimize their appearance. READ MORE
Does Botox make you look older after it wears off?

We recommend Biocorneum made by Sientra to help reduce the appearance. Results are as good as silicone sheeting without the headache of constantly replacing them and having them fall off during activity. Biocorneum also offers SPF 30 protection, applied twice daily. READ MORE
Can dermal pigmentation be removed?
Typically, we recommend a topical cream that has Hydroquinone as its active ingredient. Applied two to three times daily, results are typically visible in a few weeks. READ MORE

Being born with neurofibromatosis I've seen my share of plastic surgeons in my 29 years. All have been great at MANAGING it, however only Dr. Theo Gerstle was able to make a significant improvement on my appearance. I had all but given up hope than any improvement could be done, but Dr. Gerstle gave me confidence within the first five minutes of meeting him that he could help me. Not only is he an exceptional surgeon, but they way he treats his patients is unlike any I've seen before. He is so kind and considerate and will spend as much time as you need talking to you. He has forever changed my life. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Gerstle did an amazing job on my breasts! Can't believe I feel so good only one day after my implant surgery. He was very flexible and had to reschedule my surgery 3 times. He really made me feel comfortable and relaxed from my first appointment to surgery. Loved my experience with him. My breasts look so AMAZING.

Breast cancer patients in Lexington, KY who are considering reconstruction, please get a consultation with Dr. Theo Gerstle before you embark on that journey! I thank God for leading me to him from another state to rescue me from physical, mental and emotional anguish brought upon me by implant and alloderm reconstruction. My other doctors' solution was to put me on pain meds and send me to counseling To deal with my regrets rather than remove the problem!
